Since the 1990’s Cadsteel has been one of the early adopters of light gauge steel framing operating steel framing factories in New Zealand and the USA and now Australia. Fully Australian owned and operated, Cadsteel uses the latest innovative technology and FRAMECAD manufacturing equipment to produce lightweight galvanised steel frames, trusses and flooring systems.
With our new state-of-the art rollformer (the only one in the Southern Hemisphere and one of only six worldwide), we are now producing a light weight steel floor system that for the first time offers a real alternative to traditional options.
THE SYSTEM
The FL650 is the perfect solution for production of deep C floor joists for residential, mid rise and commercial applications. Producing dedicated C & U profiles between 250mm (10”) and 305mm (12”) up to 2.25mm (13g) thickness. This machine's unique punching system provides provisions for easy installation of the HVAC and MEP, along with other electrical and plumbing services, without compromising on joint or profile strength.
